Grantmaking is a primary strategy used by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund in its philanthropic work. The Fund typically awards more than $10 million in grants each year, through a variety of grantmaking programs and initiatives.

The Jessie Ball duPont Fund’s grantmaking is focused around three bodies of work:

       Building organizational capacity;

       Expanding access and creating opportunity;

       Strengthening the nonprofit sector.
