Jessie Ball duPont Fund Welcomes New Corporate Co-Trustee
JACKSONVILLE, Florida (January 3, 2011) — Trustees of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund welcome a new trustee this year as David M. Llewellyn takes over the role of corporate co-trustee, representing Northern Trust Bank.

Llewellyn succeeds Stephen A. Lynch III who had served as corporate co-trustee for the Fund since 1990. Lynch retired as trustee at the end of 2010.
“Steve has been a wise and thoughtful trustee and provided a vital link between the bank and the Jessie Ball duPont Fund for two decades,” said Sherry P. Magill, president of the Fund. “His good counsel, professional demeanor and generous spirit have made him an integral part of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund family and he will be missed deeply.”
Llewellyn has been with Northern Trust since 1997 and currently serves as Senior Vice President at Northern Trust N.A. Based in Miami, he is Florida’s Senior Estate Settlement Officer. He chairs the Florida Estate Review Committee and sits on many statewide committees, including the Florida Trust Committee and the Florida Discretionary Actions Committee.
He received a Bachelors in International Relations from Brigham Young University, a Master of International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina, and a Juris Dotor degree from the University of Miami

The Jessie Ball duPont Fund makes grants to more than 330 eligible organizations identified by Mrs. duPont in her will. The Fund has assets of more than $265 million and has awarded $291 million in grants since 1977.
