Charles (Chuck) Redmond II is an accomplished senior executive with over a decade of experience driving transformational results across consulting, philanthropy, and technology sectors. Prior to joining Impact Experience, he served as Alliance Leader for Business Consulting & Advisory Partners at Amazon Web Services, where Chuck fostered strategic partnerships that accelerate cloud adoption among Fortune 2000 companies while developing global offerings that create measurable business value.
Chuck's expertise spans growth strategy, financial planning & analysis, social impact measurement, and partnership development. His track record includes significantly expanding joint opportunity pipelines at AWS, managing strategy, finance and operations at Venture Philanthropy Partners while also securing substantial funding for strategic initiatives. Previously, as Director of Strategy at Trident Management LLC, he initiated groundbreaking wealth creation pathways in Black American communities.
A Harvard Law graduate and University of South Carolina alumnus, Chuck began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he launched the DC office's pro bono practice serving nonprofits and social enterprises. He currently serves on multiple boards including New Venture Fund (Finance Committee Chair), Jessie Ball duPont Fund, and Child Trends, demonstrating his commitment to driving social impact alongside business excellence.
Prior to joining VPP, Chuck worked as a strategist with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a rare disease-focused venture philanthropy organization, where he helped define core values for the organization and build a long-term financial model to frame resource allocation decisions against mission-related outcomes. Chuck began his career working as a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he supported clients on a range of topics from corporate finance to organizational health. While at McKinsey, Chuck co-founded the D.C. Social Impact Group which provides pro bono consulting services to nonprofits and social enterprises in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. He continues to serve as an advisor to nonprofits and social enterprises on an ad hoc basis.
In 2019, Chuck was named a Top Non-Profit CFO by DCA Live, a Washington, D.C.-based organization celebrating fast-growing companies and dynamic leaders across a range of catalyst industries. Chuck holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Finance from the University of South Carolina.
His tenure as trustee of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund began in 2020.
