In her role as research and program associate, Ruth carries out the Jessie Ball duPont Fund's research activities and supports program development and administration.
Prior to joining the duPont Fund, Ruth was a Regulatory Analyst for Gottlieb, LLC, a medical billing and coding company focused on emergency medicine providers. Ruth previously was a Field Organizer with NextGen America, focused on increasing voter registration, turnout, and voter education in Volusia County, Florida. Ruth managed a team of five fellows from Stetson and Bethune Cookman Universities. As a result of her team's efforts, Bethune Cookman ranked #1 in the country for voter registration efforts.
Ruth is a first-generation Haitian-American graduate of Stetson University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science with minors in Communication, Sociology, and Media Studies in 2018.
Ruth earned certifications in Blood Borne Pathogens and HIV, Screening Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment, Opioid Community Trainer, Hazard Communications Advance & Basic, Mental Health First Aid, Peer Educator, and WestlawNext Research. She is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the National Congress of Black Women, the American Association of Political Consultants, and ImpactJax.
